Participatory Projects
Melanie has worked with a diverse range of communities leading participatory arts projects for 18 years. A particular focus of her work is engaging with people who are newly arrived to the UK and people that find themselves on the edge of society, often difficult to see or hear.
She will use whatever materials and techniques seem best for the participants and the projects concerned. Therefore in her Participatory Gallery you will see printing, textiles, illustration, metalwork, installations, outdoor sculpture, mosaic, photography and other processes employed.
