Future Visions of Birmingham

Future Visions of Birmingham is a 3D illustration of the people of Birmingham's visions of the future of the city. The sculpture was commisioned by Birmingham City Council and is created from printed tin, taking six months to complete.

The comission depicts aspects of Birmingham as it is today and changes the community hope to see in the coming years. It is divided into 5 scenes, each illustrating comments and suggestions gathered from the public during the year 2000.

The sculpture is on permanent display in Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
